Hello my friends

Today I talk about my favorite kind of music, the superlative heavy metal.

This style of music has its origins in the late 60’s, when bands were incorporated hard and distorted songs, with more energy. The heavy metal to gain popularity in the United Kingdom and USA during the 1970, and to their settlement and widespread dissemination in 1980.

This style of music is characterize for powerful rhythms, mostly raw and aggressive to obtain trough distorted guitars, double or single drums, electric basses, powerful sings, so the summarize generate dark and hard atmospheres.

Besides is characterized for have guitar solos with very velocity, virtuosity and technical, because this music search “largest possible number of notes within the specified time. Also, is characterized because is sung for vocals with a high vocal range (minimum 3 octaves), hard and melodic voices with great singing technique.

The Heavy Metal is a subgenre of rock and roll spread around the world, having great music scenes in Europe. Latin America and Asia (especially Japan).

Some of its subdivisions are: Speed metal, trash metal, death metal, black metal, Power metal, progressive metal, glam metal and symphonic metal.

Personally, my favorite subdivision style is “the heavy metal as such or pure”, and the power metal, because is very melodic and velocity.

For these reasons, the Heavy metal is amazing, superlative, apotheosis, powerful, melodic. For these elements, if god was alive in the Earth he obviously listen heavy metal, only heavy metal.

Santiago

Hello my classmates.

I think that Santiago has several interesting elements; so I like different places that Santiago offers.

Since a Geographical view, I like Santiago because is a city that relatively small compared with other mega cities of the world, for example, Tokyo, New York, Sao Paulo; Therefore in Santiago the travel times  are small.

Secondly, Santiago has the advantage that is relatively near of different landscapes to visit and enjoy, for example, is a one hour and half from de beach, or a 1 hour from ski resorts, or a one hour and half of national parks.

On the other hand, in Santiago there are several interesting things I can do, for example, visit several places of entertainment, as “bares of rock and metal”, theaters, cinemas, parks, interesting and historic urban areas,  good restaurants and typical food, etc.

A foreigner I would recommend visiting the following locations: the “plaza de armas” because is the same that Peru (jaj xd), San Cristobal and Santa Lucia Hills (for the beautiful landscape), the center of Santiago (because they have a varied architecture), etc.

Ten year time

Hello my classmates.

Today I talk about how I image my future in ten years to the future. I think that It’s very difficult because in the future can happen changes, so is very uncertain, indefinite. I can plan, suppose, but I don’t know what I want.

When I think where I’ll be, maybe I’ll live in the house with my fathers, because I don’t like live alone.  Also if I’ll live with my father I saving the cost of the telephone, the water, every serves of a home (xd).

If I think ¿What occupation I’ll be doing?, the answer is extremely difficult, because I don’t know if I’ll like job, because I prefer that my father gave me an allowance (jaja xd), so in ten years into the future I prefer going to parties, drink with my friends, etc. Sorry, but is the true.

With whom I hope to live? Well, jaj, I’ll hope share with my family, because I don’t have plans to share with someone else.

About the question ¿What things I will have achieved? Sincerely… nothing, only I’ll hope be happy.

When I think, what changes the world will have seen?, Maybe the world continue who is today, so, in the 21-12-2012, specifically at six o’clock (Chilean hour), the world isn’t end how say Nostradamus.

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

Hello my classmates.

I hate the art, but in this moment I have to write about a piece of art,.. =(

My favorite piece of art is “The last supper” of Leonardo Da Vinci (lie). I saw this piece of art, when I was ten years, when I was in a painting course at my school. So in this moment I think and I feel that this painting was amazing¡. Later I saw this painting in the “Discovery channel” xd.

I like this piece of Leonardo, because is a perfect mixture between, religion, art, geometry, history, mystery and genius. The context of this painting is executed between 1495 and 1497, is on the wall on which originally painted in the refectory of the Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan (Italy). The painting was drawn to his employer, Duke Ludovico Sforza of Milan.

For me this is not better than other art work, because a Think that the art is principally subject, then each of people choose freely her favorite piece of art.  

For me is important mention that for the context of the times, this painting is very advanced, because used several techniques of art, for example, the perspective, Geometry, the colors, symbolism, etc.

A Good Book

Hello my classmates:

Well, my favorite book that I read and enjoyed is “The Lord of the Rings”, written by J.R.R. Tolkien.

I read it, because in my family, my parents always taught me to read different types of books, (however actually I don’t like read books of literature, because is very boring), so when I was fifteen years my Brother gave me a rare book called “the lord of the rings”, so in this moment I said and I thought “this book is very long and her name is rare”. However when I started reading the book I began to find interesting, so the book get me started, and finally I liked it.

Well, the story is a fantasy novel developed in the Third age of Middle-earth, a fictional place populated by men’s and other anthropomorphic races, for example “Hobbits”, the “elfos”, “orcos” or the “Dwarf”. The Novel tells the travel of the protagonist, (the Hobbit called Frodo Bolsón) to destroy the one ring and the, and the consequent war caused by the enemy, so the novel tells a story between the dark and the good forces.

I enjoyed it because I think and I feel that the story is very interesting , very funny and is very well developing.

I also like the book “hundred years of solitude”, because is very emotive and they have interesting topics.

An ambition

Hello my dear classmates.

 Today I will talk about an ambition that I feel.

Personally I have always wanted to travel to the all around the world xd, but I know that this is very difficult, however I have hopes; this is a one of motive of  why I study Geography.

Firslty I want to travel to Europe because is a continent with a great diversity of landscapes, people, cities, foods, etc; but the principal motive of why I want to travel to Europe is because in this continent are the bands of heavy metal (only, only for men), that I love, so I could see this bands ever and frequently.

The second place that I would like to visit is South America, for its geographic diversity, for example for the diversity of cultures, terrain, climates, vegetal forms, and obviously the women´s (hots not the ladies). For this reason I like to visit Brazil (carnival of Rio), Argentina or Bolivia. I also like going to see the different social realities of those countries (for example the “favelas” or the Amazon communities in Brazil).

On the other hand, I also want to know the South of Chile because say it is a paradise on the earth.

My favorite coastline

hello my classmates, today I talk about my favorite beach or coastline.

I have visited many beaches in Chile, (of every types), for example since wonderfull beaches or ugly beaches.
 Many wonderfull beaches of Central Chile that I visited are, Cartagena (or Cartagua), el Quisco, Algarrobo, ConCon, Pichilemu, etc. I like this beaches because they have temperate waters in summer, however have cold waters in the winter;  Also have beautiful landscapes, for example varied forests, montains, geometry of the coastline, architecture, people, tourists, typical food, etc. Often have mild temperatures and sunshine.
Many wonderfull beaches of south of Chile that I know are Pelluhue, Lota, the coast of Validivia, Puerto Montt, and many others beaches of Chiloé. I like this beaches because they have really wonderfull scenarys, for example, a varied geography of reliefs, climate, rivers, cities, people, food and architecture; however in the winter the climate is very cold and rainy, but the green color of the forest, and the blue color of the ocean, is a fantastic combination.
The northern beaches also are nice and interesting, for example Iquique, La serena, Coquimbo, Huanaqueros, Cachagua (xd); however my favorite beach of the north of Chile is Iquique, because have a interesting geography and is a wonderful city.
